Bradley
J. Thomas, a life-long Minot resident, graduated from Minot High School in 1977. He graduated from
North Dakota State University in Fargo in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with minors in business and
chemistry. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in mortuary science
from the University of Minnesota in 1984.
He returned to Minot
in the summer of 1984 to assist his father in the operation of the
funeral home. He received his North Dakota license in 1985. Brad has
completed a specialized course of study and training to become a Certified Funeral Service
Practitioner (CFSP).
Brad is married to
the former Jacqueline Hight whom he married August 1, 1987. Brad is a
member and former Elder at First Presbyterian Church, Minot. He is a
member and past president of the Minot Curling Club, served on the board of
directors of the
U.S. Curling Association, and North Dakota Curling Association. He is a charter member
of the
Magic City Youth Baseball Board of Directors, and served two terms as the
Northwest District Governor for the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association
Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Eagles, Elks, and Moose Lodges, and the Minot Lions
Club.
