Corliss Corrine Clark, 59, Phoenix, AZ, and formerly of Minot and Dickinson, died on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 in a Foundation For Life Senior Living Center, Phoenix, AZ 

Corliss was born on September 17, 1948 in Hettinger, ND to Dr. Gordon B. and Carley (Yates) Olson.  She was baptized in Almont, ND and attended elementary school and high School in Dickinson, ND.  She graduated from Dickinson High School in 1966 and from Minot State University in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and art.  As a young adult she taught school in San Manuel, AZ and Minot, ND.  

Corliss married Gary Clark in San Manuel.  They made their home in Miami, AZ where they raised their two children. Chad is married to Tisha, has three children and is stationed with the U.S. Navy in San Diego.  Cheri is married to Derek Johnson, lives in Miami, AZ and is the mother of five children.  Gary died in 2007. 

Corliss’ family includes not only her children and grandchildren, but also her parents Dr. Gordon and Carley Olson of Minot, and sisters, Linda (John) Bittay of Pittsburgh, PA and Wendy (Rev. Kerwin) Sletto of Ottawa, Illinois, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Corliss was preceded in death by her husband, an infant sister, and grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. K.O. Yates and Mr. and Mrs. B.T. Olson. 

Funeral Service:  A Private Service was held at the Thomas Family Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.
Interment:  Rosehill Memorial Park – Minot.
Visitation:  There will be no reviewal but friends may sign a memorial register on Friday, February 8, 2008, from 10 am until 5:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot, ND – Minot.
Memorials are preferred to the Bethel Free Lutheran Church – Minot.
