David Glen Weinreich, 54, Minot, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, in his home. 

David was born October 13, 1954, in Minot, ND, to Harold and Martina (Klein) Weinreich.  He was raised in Minot, and graduated from Bishop Ryan High School in 1972. 

He attended mechanic’s schooling in Denver, CO finishing his degree in Billings, MT.  David returned to Minot in 1973, where he gained employment at Ryan Chevrolet as a mechanic for a number of years.  He later moved to Fargo and worked there for a time. 

He returned to Minot and began driving truck professionally for Schatz Truckstop and most recently for Cenex of Minot, hauling fuel until ill health forced his retirement. 

David’s hobbies included fishing out of Deepwater Bay on Lake Sakakawea, while enjoying his summer cabin and riding his “Gold Wings” with his brother, Mark.  He will be deeply missed by all who shared in his life. 

Loving family includes:  Sisters:  Barbara (Randall) Feist, Elk Grove, CA and Kristine Segarra, San Diego, CA; Brother:  Mark Weinreich, Minot, ND; Father:  Harold Weinriech, Minot, ND. 

David was preceded in death by his mother, Martina. 

Memorial Service:  Saturday, March 14, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Visitation:  There will be no reviewal, however, family and friends are invited to sign a memorial register book on Friday, March 13, 2009, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials:  Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or to an organization of the donor’s choice.
