Hannah was born July 24, 1908 at Berthold, North Dakota, the daughter of Iver and Marie (Heier) Moger. She was raised and educated in Berthold, and graduated from Berthold High School in 1927. Hannah was once married to Carlyle Stenerson. They were blessed with two children, Carol and Jerry. Hannah was united in marriage to Ray Brown on April 4, 1946, in Zion Lutheran Church, Berthold. They made their home in Berthold, and owned and operated a grain farm southwest of Berthold. She also worked as a waitress at Rogneby’s Café and cooked for the Berthold School for many years. Ray died on September 12, 1965. Hannah had continued to make her home in the Berthold area until moving to Colorado in 2001 to be nearer to her family. Hannah was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Berthold her entire life, where she was active in Circle, Ladies Aid, and Mission projects. She was also a member of the Senior Citizens, PTA, and Homemaker’s. Her loving family includes: Children: Carol (Don) Moore, Salida, CO, Gerald “Jerry” (Bobbi) Stenerson, Sonoma, CA, Corrine Clark, Littleton, CO; Seven Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Hannah was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters: Lisa Steffens, Evelyn Birdsall, Annie Troxel, Gladys DuPaul and Thelma Stenerson, their husbands, and five nephews.
