Jacqueline Thomas, daughter of LaVerne and Patricia Hight of Minot, was born and raised in Minot.  She graduated from Minot High School in 1983 and graduated from Minot State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management.  She is the wife of Brad Thomas, whom she married August 1, 1987.  She was previously employed at Midwest Federal Savings and Loan, and at the Casual Corner, a women's clothing store.  Jackie is treasurer for the North Dakota Curling Association and was previously involved in the music ministry at several catholic churches in Minot.  Jackie is a flutist, pianist, vocalist, and organist at a variety of religious and community events.

Jackie is licensed by the North Dakota Insurance Department to sell all forms of life insurance and annuities.  She successfully completed an intensive training program that utilized instructors from Kansas City, Omaha, and Atlanta.
