James Edward Wagner, 80, 3100 11^th Ave. S.E. Lot D-25 – Minot died on Saturday January 27, 2007 in a Minot hospital. 

James was born on April 2, 1926 in Minot ND to Tom and Rose (Muncs) Wagner.  He was raised and educated in Minot and various places in North Dakota.  James married Laverne Schieve Kolobakken on July 3, 1956 in Minot.  They made their home in Minot where he was employed by Orheim Construction and Mackley Construction companies prior to beginning employment with Berg Masonry.  He retired in 1990.  Laverne died on August 24, 1994. 

James was a member of Zion Lutheran Church – Minot and especially enjoyed bowling, fishing and horseshoes. 

Survivors include:  stepchildren:  Floyd Kolobakken, Richard Kolobakken and Ron Kolobakken all of Minot, Margie Andrus of Great Falls, MT and Shirley Round (John Petersen) of Oakdale, MN; seventeen step grandchildren, thirty step great grandchildren and one step great great grandchild as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brothers: William and Tom. 

Funeral Service:  Thursday February 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Zion Lutheran Church – Minot.
Interment will be in Rosehill Memorial Park – Minot.
Visitation:  Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home – Minot.
Memorials are preferred to Trinity Hospice.
