Marilyn D. Langland, 83, Minot, died suddenly on Wednesday, January
31, 2007, at her home. Marilyn was born December 15, 1923, Keene, ND, where she spent her formative years on the farm. Following graduation from Ray High School in 1941 and attending Minot Business College, Marilyn worked at the Watford City Post Office from 1942-1952. Marilyn was united in marriage to Palmer Langland on June 26, 1952, in Parshall, ND and thereafter established their home in Minot. She retired from Midwest Federal Savings Bank after 27 years of employment. Marilyn was a member of the Eagle’s Auxiliary and Legion Auxiliary, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Minot, and the church ladies group. Marilyn enjoyed visiting with family and friends, traveling, and baking goodies. Loving survivors include: Son: Mervin, Huntsville, AL; Sister: Dorothy Senger, Williston; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Palmer; Brothers: Paul, Edwin, and Lawrence.
Funeral: Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s
Lutheran Church, Minot.
