Marjorie Agnes Fisher, loving wife, mother, grandmother,
great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, born February 25, 1919, died While in California she was united in marriage to Eddie Fisher, also from Bowbells who had also moved to the Long Beach area with his cousin and friends during the depression. Marge and Eddie were married in Long Beach in 1939, and returned to Bowbells after the war to pursue farming and business for the next thirty-six years. After retiring in 1982, Marjorie and Eddie moved to Tucson, AZ where they made their home until 2002, at which time Marjorie returned to North Dakota to live with her daughter, Cherry, and later Somerset Court and Brentmoor Assisted Living facilities. Marjorie was very active in politics, both local and national, and was a member of the Saturday Morning Breakfast Club in Tucson. She was an expert bridge player, loved gardening, and was an avid reader. She got up every morning to get the most out of every day, even while her health was deteriorating. Our mother was very loving and cared deeply about her family and friends. Her faith in God was very deep rooted, and she looked forward to spending eternity with our lord in heaven and being laid to rest beside her husband in her beloved Tucson, AZ, in Holy Hope Catholic Cemetery overlooking the Catalina Mountains. She leaves behind two daughters: Mary Fisher Hoffman, Chicago, IL, Cherry Chrest, Boston, MA; son: Allan (Betty) Fisher, Minot; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. We love you, mother, and will miss you dearly.
