Paul was born December 29, 1960, in Minot, ND, the son of Richard and Margaret (Rademacher) Ronnie. He was educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1979. He attended college at the Wahpeton State School of Science, graduating in 1981. He began his career at Cummins Diesel as a mechanic for a time and later gained employment at WW Wallwork, both of Grand Forks. In 1986, he moved to Minot, where he was employed as a mechanic and later as a shop supervisor for almost 20 years with Cenex Transportation of Minot. Paul was united in marriage to Susan Long on September 2, 1989, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Minot. This union was blessed with three daughters, Megan JoAnn, 15, Paige Suzann, 14, and Logan Beth, 11. Paul was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a former member of Bread of Life Lutheran Church and the Elks Club, all of Minot. He enjoyed the outdoors, which included countless hours of hunting and fishing, and especially spending time at his cabin at Lake Audubon. Paul also took great pride in ensuring his lawn and vehicles were neat and tidy. Paul’s deepest love was for his family, who will miss him dearly. He is survived by: Loving wife: Susan; Daughters: Megan JoAnn, Paige Suzann, and Logan Beth; Parents: Dick and Margaret Ronnie, all of Minot; Father and Mother-in-Law: George and Vilma Long, Bottineau, ND; Sisters-in-Law and Brothers-in-Law: Linda (Ralph) Liebelt, Kramer, ND, Steven Long, Lincoln, ND, and Karen (Rod) Christenson, Maxbass, ND; Nieces: Erica (Burton) Atkinson, Olivia, Hannah, and Rebecca Christenson; Nephews: Aaron and Tyler Liebelt, Noah and Zachariah Christenson; and numerous cousins. Paul was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda JoAnn Ronnie.
Funeral: Saturday, August 5, 2006, at 2:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran
