Shirley Hartung, the daughter of Alvin and Claire Beck, was born in Minot and lived there for  5^1/2 years before moving with her family to a farm in the Sawyer area.  She graduated from the Sawyer High School in 1985.

Shirley is married to Cody Hartung.  She was previously employed with Trinity Nursing Home and Trinity Health for 16 years.  She joined the funeral home team in July of 2002.

She has been a volunteer with Trinity Auxiliary and been very active with many of the functions at the nursing home.  She enjoys spending time reading, quilting, and doing crafts.  Shirley loves spending time with family and friends.
