Steven K. Schadler, 55, Minot, died on
Friday, May 25, 2007, in his home.
Steven was born August 30, 1951, to Herbert and Minerva (Schammel) Schadler
in Minot, ND. He was raised in educated in Tolley, ND, where he graduated
from Tolley High School in 1969. Steven attended Minot State University,
where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in
1973.
Following graduation, he gained employment as
a bookkeeper at Asplund Toyota for a number of years until joining the US
Post Office in Minot. He worked as a Mail Processing Clerk for 19 years
until his retirement in April 2006.
Steven was an avid sports fan and collector of memorabilia. He shared a
deep love for the Minnesota Vikings, Nebraska Cornhuskers, and was a devoted
Donny Schatz Fan, following the World of Outlaws racing. Steven will be
deeply missed by all who shared in his life.
Surviving family includes: Father: Herbert Schadler, Minot, ND; Sister:
Pam (Ed) Willett, Omaha, NE; Niece: Lyndsy Willett, Omaha, NE, Nephews:
Adam Willett, Omaha, NE and AME2 Eric Willett, Oak Harbor, WA; and numerous
cousins.
Steven was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral: Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Nursing
Home Chapel, Minot;
Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot, ND;
Visitation: There will be no reviewal, however, family and friends,
are invited to sign a memorial register book on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, from
2:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials: Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association.
